En revanche, saviez-vous que celui-ci est aussi associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 de votre peau?<\/p>\n<p>En effet, plusieurs \u00e9tudes ont rapport\u00e9 une <a href=\"https:\/\/epithelia.ca\/lexique-de-la-sante-intestinale\/\">dysbiose<\/a>, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire une alt\u00e9ration de la composition de la qualit\u00e9 et de la quantit\u00e9 des bact\u00e9ries intestinales, pour certaines pathologies dermatologiques inflammatoires (3)(9)(10)(14)(18). C\u2019est le cas pour <strong>l\u2019acn\u00e9, le psoriasis, l\u2019ecz\u00e9ma atopique et la rosac\u00e9e <\/strong>(3)(7)(10)(11)(14)(18)(19).<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, chez les personnes ayant de l\u2019acn\u00e9, les \u00e9tudes d\u00e9montrent une r\u00e9duction de la diversit\u00e9 bact\u00e9rienne intestinales et une r\u00e9duction du ratio <a href=\"https:\/\/epithelia.ca\/lexique-de-la-sante-intestinale\/\">Firmicutes\/Bacteroidetes<\/a>, pouvant contribuer \u00e0 une augmentation de la <a href=\"https:\/\/epithelia.ca\/lexique-de-la-sante-intestinale\/\">perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 intestinale<\/a> (3)(19).<\/p>\n<p>Dans les \u00e9tudes scientifiques sur le sujet, les auteurs utilisent souvent le terme <em>axe intestin-peau <\/em>(3)(10)<em>!<\/em> Celui-ci repr\u00e9sente la <strong>relation bidirectionnelle<\/strong> entre l\u2019intestin et la peau (3)(11)(19).<\/p>\n<p><strong>En effet, ces deux organes partagent plusieurs \u00e9l\u00e9ments en commun <\/strong>(3)<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sont essentiels \u00e0 la fonction immunitaire;<\/li>\n<li>Sont tr\u00e8s sensibles au stress et \u00e0 l\u2019anxi\u00e9t\u00e9;<\/li>\n<li>H\u00e9bergent plusieurs esp\u00e8ces bact\u00e9riennes, fongiques et virales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Voici quelques exemples illustrant les interactions potentiels entre l\u2019intestin et la peau :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On estime qu\u2019entre 7 et 11% des personnes ayant un <a href=\"https:\/\/epithelia.ca\/lexique-de-la-sante-intestinale\/\"><strong>syndrome de l\u2019intestin irritable<\/strong> (SII)<\/a> ont du <strong>psoriasis <\/strong>(3). Ces deux pathologies ont des composantes inflammatoires et une alt\u00e9ration du microbiote est pr\u00e9sente dans les deux cas (3)! Pour plus de d\u00e9tails sur le syndrome de l\u2019intestin irritable (SII), allez-voir <a href=\"https:\/\/epithelia.ca\/blogue\/syndrome-de-lintestin-irritable-au-dela-des-fodmap-quelles-sont-les-differentes-pistes-dintervention\/\">cet article<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Chez les personnes ayant de la rosac\u00e9e, la pr\u00e9valence du <strong>Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth<\/strong> (SIBO) est sup\u00e9rieure et l\u2019\u00e9limination du SIBO r\u00e9duit significativement les l\u00e9sions cutan\u00e9es (3) (voir l\u2019article <a href=\"https:\/\/epithelia.ca\/blogue\/le-sibo-pas-si-beau\/\">Le SIBO, pas si beau !<\/a> pour plus d\u00e9tails). Cela d\u00e9montre le lien potentiel entre ces deux conditions (3).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Une perturbation au sein de leur \u00e9quilibre microbien, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019une dysbiose au niveau de la peau ou de l\u2019intestin, entra\u00eene une alt\u00e9ration de la fonction de leur barri\u00e8re respective (3)(7)(11)(14). Ce dysfonctionnement favorise la synth\u00e8se de mol\u00e9cules inflammatoires qui elles, qu\u2019elles soient produites au niveau des couches internes de la peau ou de la muqueuse intestinale, peuvent entrer dans la circulation sanguine et peuvent causer bien des dommages sur leur passage (3)(11)(14). Ces mol\u00e9cules inflammatoires peuvent \u00e9galement affecter la qualit\u00e9 de la barri\u00e8re de l\u2019un et de l\u2019autre, autrement dit, une perturbation au niveau de la peau, via les mol\u00e9cules inflammatoires produites, peut induire une perturbation au niveau de la barri\u00e8re intestinale (3)(11). (2022) (11)<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color\">Alors que doit-on favoriser pour la sant\u00e9 de la peau?<\/h3>\n<p>Plusieurs habitudes influencent la sant\u00e9 de la peau : la consommation d\u2019alcool, l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique, le tabagisme, l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne, l\u2019exposition au soleil, le stress, le sommeil et bien s\u00fbr l\u2019alimentation et l\u2019hydratation (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(13)(17).<\/p>\n<p>Outre le fait de prendre soin de la sant\u00e9 digestive, une alimentation \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e est essentielle pour une peau saine (1)(2)(17). Celles <strong>observationnelles<\/strong> ont constat\u00e9 une augmentation du risque d\u2019acn\u00e9 lors de la consommation de produits laitiers surtout chez les adolescents et les jeunes adultes (entre 7 et 30 ans) (6)(12). Les associations \u00e9taient plus marqu\u00e9es au sein des populations ayant une alimentation dite<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Western<\/em>, comme celle nord-am\u00e9ricaine (6)(12). Ces observations ne sont donc <strong>pas des liens de causalit\u00e9<\/strong> \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 que ce sont des \u00e9tudes observationnelles (6)(12)! En effet, les effets semblent \u00eatre davantage associ\u00e9s aux aliments selon leur index glyc\u00e9mique (IG), c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire l\u2019\u00e9chelle qui classe les aliments riches en glucides en fonction de leur effet sur l\u2019augmentation de la glyc\u00e9mie par rapport \u00e0 un aliment de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence (ex. glucose ou pain blanc), et non seulement la teneur en sucre (12)(14). La consommation d\u2019aliments \u00e0 IG \u00e9lev\u00e9 semble favoriser la synth\u00e8se de s\u00e9bum (11)(16). De plus, les \u00e9tudes d\u2019intervention ont constat\u00e9 une am\u00e9lioration de l\u2019acn\u00e9 lors de l\u2019adoption d\u2019une alimentation \u00e0 IG faible (3)(9)(11)(12)(16).
