What happens at the first meeting?
The first appointment lasts 60 minutes. The nutritionist will do a complete assessment of your health, medical history and nutrition goals. You'll also have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and ask questions.
How do you choose between à la carte meetings and support?
At the end of your assessment, you'll have the option of choosing between à la carte meetings or a personalized coaching program. This decision will be made in consultation with the nutritionist, based on your needs and objectives. She will give you her clinical opinion to help you make your decision.
What determines the number of follow-up appointments I need (5, 11 or 17)?
The number of follow-up appointments you need is determined by several factors, including :
- Health and nutrition goals: If you have specific health or nutrition goals, this may influence the number of appointments needed to achieve them. For example, losing weight, managing a specific medical condition, or improving your diet may require more frequent follow-up.
- Complexity of nutritional problems: If you have complex health problems or specific nutritional needs, this may require more extensive follow-up to develop and adjust a tailored nutritional plan.
- Progress and necessary adjustments: Progress towards your goals and necessary adjustments along the way can also influence the number of follow-up appointments required. For example, if you encounter challenges or plateaus in your progress, this may require additional meetings to find solutions.
- Compliance and commitment: Your commitment to following nutritional recommendations and implementing proposed changes can play a role in determining the number of appointments needed. A high level of commitment can mean faster progress and less need for follow-up.
- Personal preferences: Your personal preferences in terms of follow-up and support can also be taken into account. Some people prefer more frequent meetings for ongoing support, while others may feel comfortable with less frequent meetings.
By discussing these factors with the nutritionist at your first meeting, you can work together to determine the optimal number of follow-up appointments needed to achieve your health and nutrition goals.
How often are follow-up meetings held?
The frequency of follow-up meetings will depend on your needs and goals. You can discuss the frequency of meetings with the nutritionist and adjust accordingly throughout the process.
How can I pay for meetings?
Payment is made at the end of each meeting by credit card. You will receive a receipt for your insurance by e-mail.
What is the appointment cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Any appointment missed without 24 hours' notice will be charged at 50% of the meeting price, except in cases of emergency, where we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.
Can the nutritionist work in collaboration with other health professionals?
Yes, if necessary, the nutritionist can work in collaboration with other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to your well-being. We may send communications to your physician, but always with your written approval.
