Raw - Shelled

  1. Soak buckwheat in plenty of water overnight. Rinse well. and make a reservation.
  2. In a nonstick skillet, pour 2 tsp. canola/camelina oil and cook for 10 minutes. Cook buckwheat until lightly browned.

Baked - Sparkling

  1. Cook 1 cup of buckwheat grains in 2 cups of water for 13-15 minutes maximum (always double the water to buckwheat ratio).
  2. Mix the cooked buckwheat with 1 tbsp. olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Set aside for later use.
