We love hemp seeds, especially for their protein content. They're also an excellent source of magnesium, phosphorus, iron and thiamine. Visit hemp seeds sprinkle wonderfully over pasta dishes, salads, soups, oatmeal, yoghurt or in all homemade desserts and snacks.
Energy-filled smoothie
Blueberries, spinach, bananas, protein and fibre: a perfect blend for optimal energy!

Ingredients
- 1 t. (250 ml) plain soy beverage, unsweetened
- 1 t. (250 ml) spinach, organic
- ½ t. (125 ml) Greek yogurt, vanilla flavour
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) hemp seeds, shelled
- ¼ banana
- ½ t. (125 ml) blueberries, frozen
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in the container of an electric mixer. Blend until smooth. Add a little water if necessary.
