Avocado, tofu and kimchi on toast
These avocado tartines are revisited with the addition of kimchi! They're divinely good, especially if you like your meals spicy and tasty!

Ingredients
Tofu marinade
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) tamari sauce sodium-reduced
- 2 tsp (10 ml) sesame oil
- Juice of half a lime
- ½ tsp (2.5 ml) by Sambal Oelek
Tartine
- 2 slices of whole-grain bread grilled
- 1 lawyer
- ½ block (225 g) tofu sliced
- of kimchi*
- Coriander to taste
Instructions
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a small container. Place on tofu slices to cover well. Place in the fridge and marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Place the marinated tofu on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- A few minutes before the tofu is due to finish cooking, toast the bread, then divide the avocado between the two slices. Then add the tofu, kimchi and coriander.
Notes
*Kimchi: Originally from Korea, kimchi is made from lacto-fermented vegetables. Rich in flavor and texture, kimchi adds personality to the dish it accompanies. You'll find it in the fruit and vegetable section of supermarkets.
