Ingredients

1 t. water

1 tea bag or herbal tea

Lemon and/or lime slice(s)

Preparation

1. Boil the water and pour into the cup.

2. Add the tea bag and leave to infuse for 2-3 minutes.

3. Remove the bag.

4. Leave to cool a little before placing in the fridge, or add a generous amount of ice around it to cool more quickly.

5. Place one or more slices of lemon or lime in the cup to flavour the tea.

HERB SUGGESTIONS

For the strawberry and hibiscus-flavoured white tea :

Add strawberry pieces and fresh basil. Another interesting addition: ½ tsp chia seeds per cup.

For the green tea with lemon and mint flavour :

Since this type of tea is likely to develop a bitter taste, we don't leave the bag to infuse for more than 2 minutes. You can add mint leaves, fresh from your garden, herbs and a slice of lemon to enhance the flavour.
